The short answer to this is no. You cannot get high on hemp seeds. Even if you ate nothing but hemp seeds, you still wouldn’t get high because hemp seeds contain such a small amount of THC. THC is the ingredient responsible for the “high” you get from smoking marijuana, but hemp seeds only have a trace amount.

Three tablespoons contain 11 grams of protein. Hemp also does not appear to contain phytic acid that may reduce nutrient absorption.

Pour a half a cup of hemp seeds into a dry skillet placed over medium high heat and stir them until they begin to pop. Eat the hemp seeds as a snack, but only make the amount you will eat because cooked seeds do not keep well.

You won’t get high from hemp seeds, but you will get healthier!
